Tim Parks Jr. Receives Top Federated Member HonorSTAUNTON, Virginia - Tim Parks of Parks Auto Parts was honored with the most prestigious Federated Auto Parts member recognition, the Art Fisher Memorial Award.

"Parks Auto Parts has been a Federated member for over 30 years, and I know my dad would be so proud that Tim has received this honor," said Bo Fisher, chairman of Federated Auto Parts and son of the late Art Fisher. "This award recognizes those who carry on Art's legacy through their outstanding dedication to the membership, the group and the industry. He is actively involved in many Federated activities and we thank him for volunteering his time for the betterment of the entire Federated membership."

Parks serves as director of information technology and product management for Parks Auto Parts. He is the third generation of the Parks Auto Parts family; the company was founded in 1946 by his grandfather in Charleston and now has 14 locations in South Carolina. Parks is the Federated representative for his family-owned business and a member of the Federated Executive Committee. He has also served on the Federated Co-Man Council and as a Federated Car Care advisor.

The Art Fisher Memorial Award is given annually to the member who best demonstrates dedication and commitment to Federated and fellow members. The award is named after Federated founder Art Fisher, who provided a unique dedication to the group and membership in establishing Federated as a leading marketing group in 1985. The recipient of the award has demonstrated a commitment to support and enhance efforts on behalf of all members through volunteering of time and effort for the benefit of all. They have further agreed to serve in roles representing all member interests and have demonstrated the unique dedication that Art Fisher embodied.
